Pa. Power Plant Still In Hot Water Over Allegheny River Temps

Appalmad attorneys, representing the Sierra Club and other environmental groups, have sued the owners of coal-fired power plant near Pittsburgh for releasing water that is too hot into the Allegheny River. A federal court ruled today that the Cheswick Generating Station, the notorious Pittsburgh-area power plant, cannot avoid a lawsuit over whether it violated its Pennsylvania state permit by dumping warm water into the Allegheny River.
